ECHL Cancels Remainder of the 2019-20 Season
Due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 virus, the ECHL announced on Saturday, March 14 that it had canceled the remainder of the 2019-20 season. The Solar Bears remain committed to the health and safety of its fans, players, partners and staff. Below are some answers to questions from fans who have purchased tickets for the 2019-20 season.
What is the Orlando Solar Bears ticket refund policy for Individual Game Buyers?
Fans who purchased tickets directly from Ticketmaster will be subject to Ticketmaster’s event cancellation policies, which can be located HERE. If you purchased tickets in-person at the Amway Center box office, the refund will need to be processed in-person at the Amway Center box office. If you purchased your tickets through a group link for a Solar Bears game, we will be working diligently to make sure your refund is processed in a timely manner.
I purchased tickets through a resale/ticket broker site. Will I receive a refund?
All tickets purchased through a resale (e.g. Vivid Sets, Ticket Network, Stub Hub, Seat Geek, etc.) will be subject to the refund policy of the ticket marketplace. Please contact their customer service departments for more information.
What happens with Solar Status Season Ticket Member tickets for cancelled games?
Solar Status Members who have renewed: Tickets that are part of their season ticket plan (this does not include any exchange tickets) from the five (5) remaining regular season home games of the 2019-20 season will be credited towards their season ticket packages for the 2020-21 season. For Full Season plan holders, the first four (4) home playoff games will be credited toward their ticket package for the 2020-21 season as well.
Solar Status Members who have NOT renewed: Tickets that are part of their season ticket plan (this does not include any exchange tickets) from the five (5) remaining regular season home games of the 2019-20 season can be used for any flexible ticket package or individual tickets for the 2020-21 season, or you may call your ticket account representative directly to receive a refund. For Full Season plan holders, the first four (4) home playoff games can be used for any flexible ticket package or individual tickets for the 2020-21 season, or you may call your ticket account representative directly to receive a refund as well.
2020-21 Payment Plan Accounts: The account credit will be applied to your 2020-21 unpaid balance. Account credits from un-played 2019-20 games will be added to accounts within 7 business days.
2020-21 Paid in Full Accounts: The account credit can be used during the 2020-21 season for additional tickets to games, add additional seats to current plan, upgrade current seat location or receive a refund.
What happens with unused Corporate Flex vouchers?
The Solar Bears will accept any unused 2019-20 Corporate Flex Vouchers for the 2020-21 regular season.
How does this affect 2020-21 Season Ticket payments?
Full, Half and Partial Ticket Plan payments for the 2020-21 season will continue to be processed on the date agreed upon during the renewal process.
I received tickets that were donated to a fundraiser or through a community event during the 2019-20 season. Can I use them next season?
Yes, you will be able to use the donation certificate for the 2020-21 regular season.
Does this affect other Solar Bears events?
Effective immediately, all Orlando Solar Bears player involvement in community events are unfortunately cancelled.
