Seat Location Questions

Q. I'd like to place my deposit for a Season Ticket Package. When can I select my
seat location?

A. Feel free to deposit by visiting www.orlandosolarbearshockey.com/tickets.html. We will then contact you directly and help you select your seats over the phone.

Q. Do you have a map that shows the seating configuration and each section's proximity to the Parking Garages?
A. Yes, please visit the 2012-13 Orlando Solar Bears Seating Chart.

Q. Can I purchase Season Tickets in the promenade/upper deck (Upper Level –
Sections 201-232)?

A. No. Promenade seating will only be available for select games. Individual promenade tickets will be made available for sale online and through the Amway Center Box Office.

Q. Will Season Ticket accessible seating be available?
A. Yes, accessible seating will be available in sections 101, 104-107, and 113-116. Wheelchair accessible and companion seats are available at locations dispersed throughout Amway Center, offering guests the choice of prices and lines of sight. Q. Can I still select my seat location if I choose the Half Season Ticket Plan (18 games)?
A. Yes. And you can choose which 17 games you wish to attend (Opening Night is included in the 18 game / Half Season Plan).

 

Ticket Questions

Q. What types of ticket packages will the Solar Bears offer?
A. We are offering Full and Half Season Ticket plans. We will also offer group discounts for groups of 15 tickets or more. Premium seating will also be available (suites, loge boxes, and club seating).

Q. What benefits will Season Ticket holders have?
A. All Full Season Ticket plans will include tickets to all 36 regular season home games and our first four (4) home playoff games – a forty (40) game package!

Some of the great benefits include the following (more to come at a later date):

  • Full Season Ticket holders receive significant savings of up to 42% off box office pricing.
  • Half Season Ticket holders receive significant savings of up to 31% off box office pricing.
  • Full and Half Season Ticket holders will receive the same reserved seat for all regular and post-season games.
  • Full Season Ticket holders will receive first choice of their seat location for the following season.
  • Full Season Ticket holders will have the opportunity to "freeze" their ticket plan price for the Solar Bears' first three seasons (2012-2015).
  • Solar Bears Ticket Exchange Program – see below for more information.
  • Full and Half Season Ticket holders will receive invitations to special VIP events:
    November/December 2012 – "Holiday Skate with the Players"
    January/February 2013 – "Winter Carnival"
    March 2013 – Year-End Awards Banquet


Q. Four (4) Playoff games – What if the Solar Bears play fewer than four home playoff games?
A. By default, if the Solar Bears miss the playoffs or play fewer than 4 playoff games, money collected for those games will be applied to the following season. A refund will be issued if requested.

Q. What does "freeze" mean?
A. "Freeze" means that, as a full season ticket holder, you will be able to lock in your first year season ticket pricing for our first three years (2012-15). If season ticket prices go up, your price will remain the same through the 2014-15 season if you maintain and continue to purchase season tickets each of the first three seasons.

Q. Will suites be available for single games?
A. Yes, more information will be available at a later date.

Q. Will you have a ticket exchange program?
A. Yes, as an added benefit for Full and Half Season Ticket holders, games will be selected prior to the start of each season and listed as "Exchange Night Games" for unused Season Tickets. More information will be sent out prior to the start of the 2012-13 season.

Q. What is the age requirement for children's tickets?
A. The Amway Center requires children that have reached their 2nd birthday by the date of the game to have a ticket for entry.

Q. When will Opening Night tickets go on sale?
A. Opening Night and individual game tickets for the 2012-13 regular season will go on sale to the general public in the fall of 2012. More information will be released in summer 2012.

Miscellaneous Questions

Q. Will the Solar Bears be affiliated with an NHL team?
A. Yes – we are affiliated with the Minnesota Wild (NHL) and Houston Aeros (AHL).

Q. When will the Solar Bears 2012-13 regular season schedule be released?
A. The 2012-13 regular season schedule has been released and is subject to change - view at: http://orlandosolarbearshockey.com/1213-schedule.html

Q. How do I meet the players?
A. Season Ticket holders will have the opportunity to meet the players at Special VIP
events.

Q. Where is the Amway Center Box Office located?
A. The Amway Center Box Office is located on Church Street. Short-term (15 minutes) parking is available in front of the box office on Church Street except during events. The Amway Center Box Office does not take ticket orders over the phone.

Parking & Transportation

Q. Is parking included in the price of my season ticket?
A. It is not. Current Amway Center parking information can be found by visiting http://www.amwaycenter.com/parking-map. More information about parking will be available prior to the start of the 2012-13 season.

Q. Will Season Ticket holders be offered discounted parking?
A. Please check back - More information to follow.

Q. How can I get directions to the Amway Center?
A. Visit www.amwaycenter.com/directions.html.
